    Do Your Work

The “off-season” is now officially upon us and the most important thing you can do to improve your golf game, and recruiting potential, is to #DoWork in the classroom.  The above grease board was noted in regards to college basketball recruiting from a AAU/High School coach and one can imagine that the GPA % is arguably more important as it relates to golf.  The entire TGA Instructional Staff wants your complete focus this “off-season” on your bookwork and we will be checking in with everyone when report cards are posted each grading period, with rewards and consequences.

    Coop Is On Fire!

We would like to congratulate TGA student-athlete Cooper Musselman for recording his first collegiate win at the famed Crooked Stick GC this past weekend!  Coop posted three consecutive rounds of 70, for a 6-under par total, and a three stroke victory over an elite field featuring some of the top teams in college golf.  Also, congrats to the UK Golf Team for earning their 3rd win this fall season and their continued movement up the national rankings prior to conference play this upcoming spring.

    Red White & Blue

Congratulations to the United States President’s Cup team for their dominating performance against the International team at Liberty National Golf Links overlooking downtown Manhattan.  Although the matches were seemingly meaningless on Sunday afternoon after the fantastic start by the US team, it is always fun to see the patriotism on display by America’s best players! This photo with lady libert in the background is awesome!

    JT 16-17 Goals

Congratulations to Justin Thomas for his outstanding play at the Tour Championship this past weekend and earning the season long FedEx Cup!  As you see in the photo above, JT was driven by his own goal setting, and it's important to note the little goals (not short siding-scramble %, etc.) that are the daily steps of achieving the major goals.  I believe that JT can give you 10,000,000 reasons why goal setting is good for your game!

  • Another W for JT

    Another W for JT

Congratulations to Justin Thomas for collecting his 5th PGA Tour win this past weekend at the TPC Boston Golf club!  JT is currently balling, his last 3 tournaments have included 216 holes of which he has made 55 birdies & 1 eagle, and 2 champion trophies to go along with his play.

  • USA! USA! USA!

    USA! USA! USA!

Congratulations to the victorious women who represented the United States of America in the hi-annual Solheim Cup matches against their European opponents.  This year's event featured some brilliant golf and tremendous sportsmanship from both sides and was a display of what makes golf such a great game!  A special #TGAshout-out for the wining captain, Julie Inkster, who continues to add to her legacy and hall of fame career.

  • #KentuckyProud

Congratulations to Justin Thomas for winning the 99th Annual PGA Championship!  It is without question that the St. Xavier High School alumn & former Kentucky junior golfer is an inspiration to today's boy and girl junior golfers, who are competing on the same circuit that he developed his skills and passion for the game, for years to come. Thanks JT & congrats!
